A Masterclass in Harbourfront Property Styling
When styling a property with uninterrupted Sydney Harbour views, the goal isn’t to compete with the outlook, it’s to enhance it.
This recently renovated apartment in Balmain East offered one of the most coveted features in Sydney real estate: panoramic waterfront views stretching across the harbour to the city skyline. Our styling approach focused on creating a sophisticated interior that complemented the outlook while helping buyers emotionally connect with the lifestyle on offer.
Every styling decision for this project began with the harbour.
The apartment’s open-plan living and dining area is naturally drawn towards the water. EVOLVE’s stylists selected furnishings that felt light, elegant, and visually unobtrusive. The warm timber flooring provided a beautiful foundation. Light upholstery, marble finishes, and glass elements were selected to reflect natural light and enhance the apartment’s sense of openness.
Soft powder blues, rich navy cushions, and carefully selected decorative accessories were incorporated throughout the living room and bedrooms, subtly reflecting the colours of the iconic Sydney Harbour.
EVOLVE’s stylists with these touches, established a visual connection between the interior and the stunning surrounding landscape. The result feels elevated, contemporary, and highly suited to the expectations of premium apartment buyers.
